Modifications of classical Pilates movements for people with lower back pain.

The pain in a lower back can accure in different positions and movements (flexion, extension, lateral-flexion/bending to the side etc.). In every case we have to be able to modify Pilates movements to ensure safety during the exercise, as well as increasing the efficiency of the training.

We shall use several classical Pilates movements on the big equipment as examples and shall modify them according to clinical situation.
